A thread that
holds you.
Indian craft, rare plant-based textiles and considered design come together in clothing made for the woman who finds meaning in what she wears.
Every Jainee D piece is 100% vegan, cruelty-free, and made with a more conscious approach to materials, craft and production guided by Jain values.
Made with thought.
Worn with feeling.
Jainee D began with a simple belief: beautiful clothing needn't ask us to choose between how it looks, how it feels, and what it leaves behind.
We seek extraordinary plant-based textiles for their softness, their movement and their gentler nature. We look to Indian dress not as something to preserve unchanged, but as a language that can keep evolving. Familiar silhouettes are reconsidered through proportion, drape and detail, made relevant to the woman wearing them today.
The result is festive clothing that feels considered rather than excessive. Rooted in where we come from, yet entirely at ease with where we are going.
Three threads we hold sacred.
The hand, unhurried.
The crafts we work with have travelled through generations. Zardozi, Marodi, Mukaish and other traditions live in the practiced hands of karigars whose understanding of material, tension and detail cannot be hurried, or replicated by a machine.
At Jainee D, that knowledge meets a contemporary design language. Our atelier considers the silhouette; our craftspeople bring their hand to it. Each garment is made to order, allowing it the time and attention that intricate handwork deserves while helping us make with greater intention, rather than in excess.
We believe the value of a garment must extend to everyone whose hands bring it into being. Our approach is built around respect, for craft, for material, for the people within our making ecosystem, and for the time required to do beautiful work well.
Some things are simply worth waiting for.
Made by women,
with women in mind.
Jainee D is shaped by women, by the conversations we have, the things we notice, the way we want clothing to move, feel and belong in our lives.
Around every collection is a coming together of different minds and hands. Design, material, craft, fit and finishing are considered collectively, with care at every decision. We question what can be lighter, what can feel better, what deserves to remain, and what Indian festive dressing can become.
There is thought behind what you see, and even more behind what you don't. Because for us, care is not an embellishment added at the end. It is part of how something is made from the beginning.
And perhaps, somewhere between our hands and yours, you feel that thread that holds you.
